Dinner in Motion is a dining experience where your surroundings transform with every course, where projection mapping, light, sound, and aroma come together to create an immersive journey.
Located in the heart of Eindhoven, this interactive gastronomic spectacle invites guests to embark on a multi-course dinner unlike any other. Each dish is meticulously crafted to harmonize with the visual and auditory effects, creating an unforgettable fusion of flavors and artistry.
To give you a concrete example, you will have a video of a library projected on the walls and on the table and the gastronomic dish will be served in a book. Every little detail is present!
Is Dinner in Motion expensive?
One question that often arises when considering unique dining experiences like Dinner in Motion is the cost. While it's true that Dinner in Motion may be slightly more expensive than a typical restaurant meal, it's important to note that the price is reflective of the extraordinary experience that awaits you but also of the gastronomic culture.
An example of a dish would be: mandarin dulce de leche cremeux with ganache of chocolate and black sesame, a crumble of muscovado sugar and creme of mint and sage with caramelised mandarin sorbet. Which you can see in the picture below.
As you can tell, the food quality is beyond anything you can imagine! For the 6-course menu, you pay €89 during the week and €99 during the weekend. A very fair price for a gastronomic diner with a unique virtual show if you ask me.
Are the drinks included?
No, the drinks are not included in the standard Dinner in Motion experience. Upon arrival at the venue, you will be asked if you would like to include the wine selection with your meal. We chose for the "full glass" wine selection but you can also chose for a "half glass" selection.
The wine arrangement was definitely worth it! You can taste every different flavor that matches perfectly with the courses. I paid around €40 for the full glass wine arrangement per person.
Once you have made your decision regarding the drink selection, the orders can be placed at your table, just like in a traditional restaurant setting. The attentive staff will be on hand to assist you with any inquiries or recommendations, ensuring that your dining experience is as seamless and enjoyable as possible.

Eindhoven has a well-connected public transportation system. If you're already in the city, you can take a bus or tram to reach the venue. We took the bus from HUP Hotel to the venue, which was easy.
You can pay with your debit card on the bus. Just tap it on the way in and on the way out. The prices can vary but public transportation is cheap in Eindhoven. You can find the timetable of buses in the app or website called 9292.
If you are going to order the wine arrangement this may be your best option so that everyone can enjoy a drink.
Private Vehicle
If you prefer driving, you can rent a car or use a taxi service to reach Dinner in Motion. The venue provides (paid) underground parking facilities for guests, ensuring a hassle-free experience.

The breakfast buffet contains all sorts of food ranging from eggs to pancakes to different kinds of cold meats. I can really recommend this hotel!
